STUDENT TECHNOLOGY

USD 250 is excited to be a 1:1 district. This means every student will have access to a Chromebook provided by the district.

ELEMENTARY STUDENTS
  • Devices will remain in classrooms.
  • All parents/guardians agree to the terms of the Device Loan Agreement and a Student Acceptable Use Policy Agreement when enrolling their child each year. This agreement will remain in the student’s file and parents/guardians may request a copy for their records.
PCMS STUDENTS
  • Devices will remain at school this year.
  • Eighth Grade students will be assigned a device and carry them throughout the school day.
  • All parents/guardians agree to the terms of the Device Loan Agreement and a Student Acceptable Use Policy Agreement when enrolling their child each year. This agreement will remain in the student’s file and parents/guardians may request a copy for their records.
PHS STUDENTS
  • Each student will be assigned a device.

  • Students may opt-out of taking a district-issued device home, however, they will use district-provided devices in the classroom.

  • Students may NOT bring personal devices into the buildings.

  • All parents/guardians agree to the terms of the Device Loan Agreement and a Student Acceptable Use Policy Agreement when enrolling their child each year. This agreement will remain in the student’s file and parents/guardians may request a copy for their records.

 

Chromebook Distribution

This year devices will be distributed on the first full day of school to PHS students. PCMS and Elementary student devices will remain at school this year.


PHS

  • Each student will be assigned a device.

  • Chromebooks will be distributed on August 18 to students who have:

    • Completed online enrollment

    • Paid Enrollment and Textbook/Technology fees

Technology fee is an annual fee and can be matched to each family’s free and reduced status. Families who would like to qualify for free and reduced benefits should apply at myschoolapps.com and agree to the Consent for Disclosure.
